Dr. Supovitz discusses how teachers can help students gain ownership over their learning by teaching them to examine their achievement data and set goals. To do this, teachers can provide clear feedback, ideally within one week of completing an assignment. School and district leaders can work with teachers to support students in using data to improve their performance.
