This presentation shows how teachers approach problem behaviors by having honest conversations with children. Children are asked to describe what happened, what they were thinking at the time, and what triggered their behavior. In this way, children can learn to understand the conditions of the situation so that they can think about the impact of their behavior on others and what they could have done differently.
