Talking Through Problems and Their Solutions

This multimedia overview describes the basic steps students can learn to monitor their problem-solving process. The tasks and prompts can be used throughout the problem-solving process to encourage students to monitor and reflect on their strategies. This recommended practice contains four tools to support monitoring and debriefing with students during the problem-solving process.
